First post in awhile, but it brings good news. First off, id lik to give a shout out to yoda(John, schwah, darkry whatever) and Dan(Radain) for a great showing in the Bodog 100k guaranteed. Dan got 3rd for $9550 or so, and Yoda pulled down the win for 25k. I had 10% of yoda so he made me $2500! What a pal.

Now to my playing. I did that tourny also but lost early with KK to set. Then i played party 215 buy in tourny and the big pokerstars 530. I felt like i made a mistake in both despite ice cold cards for the most part. So i played 11 rebuy tonight, got off to a good start getting chips early. Now if you know me, you may know i feel im a great deep stack player like is the case in these rebuys. From 500 people left on down i dominated my table never risking many chips without good stuff. I won many small pots with position and some big pots with the good stuff. I did get very good cards throughout for the most part, with a few dry spells here and there. Anyways, i only realyl had one huge suckout and that was with 4 left vs the shortstack. I palyed the final table SOOOO safely because of low blinds compared to my stack the donkeys overraising on their steals, i knew i could be patient and move up spots. Anyways i chopped heads up and won for the TLB points.

So wooo i won $9246.90 and earned 690.12 tournament leader points. I feel was my best tournament ever, and i made 3-4 huge laydown i feel great about. I may try to get a tourny history and make a little report of it, we will see.

well with all midterms behind me i decided to play a little poker today. I entered a $22 NL tourny on stars, a 52+5 10k guaranteed on Bodog, and a few tables of 2/4 NL cash games on stars. I lost the pokerstars tourny 2nd hand or so vs a guy who got all in vs me with a flush dra and hit it. Bodoh tournament had a lot of overlay like msot of their tournament, 127 people so there was like $3400 the site added to prize pool. I ended up taking it down. I was shortstacked all first hour and halfway into 2nd hour, then i made my move. Switchged gears majorly.Got a big stack and bullied my table, got lucky once when i pushed all in on button and gave a bad beat to a short stack Q3 vs AQ. Other than that i didnt really get super lucky anywhere. I played great picking up A LOT of uncontested pots which is always very good in NL poker. I was a monster chip leader all of the final table, stealing blinds and picking spots to bust people. Heads up i had a 3:1 chip lead, and he had button. He limps in, i have KK and make it 9k to go(1.5,3k blinds). He calls and i think 'good." Flop come Q high and i push all in, he calls isntantly with AA and doubles up. WOW! I get KK vs AA first heads up hand. So after that we were even but i wore him down and busted him soon. Final hand he min raises from buton, i call 4k more with J9o. 963 flop, he bets 15k(he had about 48k at start of hand), i push all in and he calls with 87. He misses his 8 outter and i take down the prize of $3,000. Good times. Havent been playing much poker lately though, so this was a fun win.

kinda bumme,d i just got 2nd out of a 50 man $109 pot limit omaha tourny on stars. I was in control heads up unti la huge hand came up. He raises from button, i max reraise and he calls 40% his stack with junk. I push in on flop and he calls with jsut a str8 draw and hits. I was down to like 10% of total chips then, and couldnt come back. Good for $900 profit.

Also, ive been doing the 6 man 2/4 NL table on stars, so much dead money there.

oh cash game are fun

I remembered why i dont play cash games. I am cursed to take a bad beat in every huge pot. I played awesome at 3/6 NL and 2/4 NL but took 3k worth in bad beats. In one such hand, it ir raise dto 36$ in 3/6, i make it $150(thats a HUGE raise), get called, push in on K high flop, get called my K8o and he rivers the 8. The other beats were just as ridiculous. oh well. I know those people are supposed to pay me off, but ive been playing poker for a couple years now and they always suck out in the important all in pots.

3rd in a 109 PL HE event on stars. It was like $936, so good for like 800 profit.

goals

WEll, ive come up with some goals for me to focus on over the next couple of months.

1. Finish this quarters school with a decent GPA.
2. Work on my tournament game as much as possible to improve for the WCOOP, aka World Championship of Online Poker held on Pokerstars.
3. Get myself in a position to be ble to play as many WCOOP events as possible.
