20+2 gayness

so i enter a 20+2 tourny on Stars...i play very solid throughout then make some a great call vs some guy with AQ that acted like he had the river K vs my pocket pair...Anyways so average stack is like 6500, ive got a little over 10k. I limp UTG with KK, like 4 callers big stack BB checks, hes got 11k. Flop comes ten high, big stakc immediately goes all in, i immediately calls. Pot is 20k obviously, which puts winner 2nd in chips. He flips over T7o. Sweet hes got 5 outs. Turn blank, river 7 BOOM im screwed over again. Tournaments are just too depressing i dont know why i used to like them. You trap some idiot for all his money and he sucks out on you seemingly every time.

UPDATE: Did the $109 also, did pretty well but lost the majority of my stack AQ vs KQ then lost a coinflip and finished 30th. Top 18 paid.

bad Beat day

Bad beat day. so i was u pa good amount, then the bad beats started POURING. 3 and 2 outters like 506 times after all in on flop. Then just tons of medium pots where i got rivered. Meh. About 1600$ swing worth from bad beats. But i guess im glad im still up a bit for day. these guys suck.

Twice i raise dto 20 with AKs. Flop comes A and 2 lows, we get all in. Twice they had AJ and spiked a jack on turn or river. haha.

hmm

i would be +a lot for the day if not for two horrible events in the span of 3 minutes. Two times i got "all in" after the turn card came, and both times they had just TWO outs with one card to come, making me about a 96% favorite. Both times i lose :(

The hands were: Both times i raised big preflop and then bet flop har,d then pushed in on turn and was called.

hand 1: i have KK he has ATo(haha) Flop: JTx, turn: Q. Thus an ace gives me straight so he needs a ten. BAM TEN.

hand 2: i have AA he has QJo. flop J77. Turn, 2. We get all in and he needs a J. A queen wont work because ill have higher two pair. BOOM Q.

Even with those horrible beats im still up for day. Just goes to show you how bad 2/4 people are.

This is why 2/4 can be hard

Not becuase of good players, but because of the horrible horrbile players. This guy bluffs with 7 high and hits runner runner two pair.

50+5 Pot limit

well i played the 55 noon PL, shot off to be the chipleader after some goof bluffs and traps mixed with good river value bets.

Then, unfortunately, i started getting good hands. I got QQ 3 times, first time all folds, second two i lost to A low kicker both times and then i got AA vs DeeohGee, guess he thought i was making move on him and pushed it all in with KT. Two tens made him the winner. Then i lose a flip type hand and was gone. Yay poker;)

made like 500 in ring today, played about 2.25 hours total.

Last night was depressing but fun, played the 1800 person $5.50 tournament, the thing felt like the WSOP there were so many damn people. I played possibly the best tournament ever, but took 17th because i got NO cards for the last 1.5 hours. My best two hands were AJs in which i had i bluff all on flop to win a pot, and A9s which i went out with when i had 45k and 6l/12k blinds with 600 ante. Anyways ive won 3 tournaments, but i almost feel like that was my best tourny ever, i did great and didnt really get any cards after the first hour. Now i know how people felt in the 2004 WSOP main event :o
